Perhaps almost all of the year end reviews of technology companies emphasize the positive side of their developments. However, it is important that one has to be actively informed about what he should learn and what was left out in the information advertised through social media.
The year-end report from the Apple Store charts would show the public that new games and applications can still break through as there were strong sales for different family games and even for cool and fun applications like Dubsmash. The game Crossy Road also made a huge impact on the market with over tens of millions of free downloads. The top grossing charts of Apple made it clear though that when it comes to the actual spending, the old games still dominate: Candy Crush Saga, Clash of Clans and Game of WAR. The main new arrival was the Candy Crush Soda Saga which was considered not to be really a very bold new invention.
What is considered missing from Apple was the absence of year end lists of the 250 applications that were pulled from the App Store during the month of October as these applications tend to gather private information of people.
The yearend review of Facebook sent out a very clear message that it is has certainly evolved to a whole new level rather than from expecting deluge of ice bucket videos as well as tell you about Ferguson protests. The review of Facebook included a list of the events in 2015 which were most talked about: refugee crises and the civil war in Syria, the attacks in Paris, the earthquakes in Nepal, Charlie Hebdo, ISIS, protests in Baltimore and issues on the equality of marriages. The events and moments showed this year affected everyone in the planet. It moved shocked as well as inspired people to take action. This is a whole new level of role that was pitched for social network as it becomes a place for activism and debate.
What is also important is to heed and give emphasis on the design of web pages like what companies like www.perth-web-design.com.au/perth-web-design-services/web-design/ are doing.

Texas — March 11, 2015 — InTouch Credit Union is pleased to announce that they will be presenting a check to a nonprofit organization, Cell Phones for Soldiers, on Thursday, March 12 at exactly 9:30 a.m. The check presentation will be held at the ITCU Sterling branch which is located at 46910 Community Plaza Sterling, Virginia. The person tasked to present the check to Cell Phones for Soldiers is none other than the Regional Branch Operations Assistant Vice President, Lindsey Argo.
The latest donation drive of ITCU for the benefit of the Cell Phones for Soldiers started in October of last year and the company had kept the spirit of giving until the end of 2014. ITCU and Cell Phones for Soldiers had first begun their great relationship when ITCU celebrated their 40th anniversary. ITCU’s work on Cell Phones for Soldiers was done in order to keep up with the spirit of what the company is for: “Not for profit, not for charity, but for service.”
The preceding check donation that ITCU and all of its members donated to Cell Phones for Soldiers amounted to an outstanding $4,000 along with hundreds of cell phones and cell phone accessories. This time, they will be giving away about $2,500 on their check presentation.
Cell Phones for Soldiers is a nonprofit organization that aims to collect cell phones that were donated so that they could refurbish them as well as purchasing prepaid international cards so that the soldiers serving overseas will be able to be connected with their loved ones back at home. Generally, the funds that they had collected amounts up to 30 minutes of call time per dollar for the soldiers.
What’s remarkable about this organization is that it was founded by Robbie Bergquist back when he was 12 years old. He did it with the help of his older sister, Brittany Bergquist. Robbie, now a 22-year old graduate from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, have provided the soldiers with almost 213 million minutes of free talk time over the past decade.
The drive spearheaded by ITCU collected numerous cell phones and cell phone accessories from the credit union branches. They did not entirely collect their goal of $2,500 but they went beyond their promise and had ultimately decided to give the said amount in full.

People are always fascinated with extra ordinary sightings. One unusual sight that continues to create an enthralling effect is the Unidentified Flying Objects or the UFOs. The UFOs are a mystery that sparks interest whether you are a kid or an adult. Many sightings were already recorded around the globe. Information regarding UFO has been for several years contained and classified from viewers. However, in recent years, UFO files are made available in museums and libraries in hard copies. Only people near the area are privileged to read and gain firsthand information regarding the mysteries.
Today, as the public continually seeks for information regarding these files and accessibility has also been an issue, the UFO files are already made available on the internet.
Making the public know
The Militarytimes.com reports that Air Force UFO declassified files are now available online. This means that anyone on the planet can browse through over 100,000 pages of declassified information regarding UFOs. Fanatics of extra ordinary sightings can judge for themselves if UFOs really do exist or they are just random images made to appear like some objects.
The man who made things possible
Through the effort of a guy named John Greenewald, the online publications of these documents were made possible. It took him several decades of hard work and patience filing for Freedom of Information Act requests before his petition was finally granted. He posted on the internet declassified reports from the US Air Force’s on UFO sightings. This was taken from Project Blue Book. Extraterrestrial sighting were compiled and uploaded on a database that is available online.
Project Blue Book
The Air Force recorded 12,618 sightings from Wright-Patterson Air Force which was based in Ohio. The project was conducted in the years 1947 to 1969. 701 of the sightings continue to remain unidentified. A published report from the University of Colorado said that there were not concrete evidences that the unidentified objects were indeed extraterrestrial.
On December 17, 1969, Project Blue Book was closed.
The documents published online do not really give the readers any new and unusual news regarding UFOs. Still, these documents are vital in the research and affirmation of conspiracy theories of any random extra ordinary sighting fanatic.

Ever since the computers were invented, it has become a vital part of the daily routines of mankind. In whatever sector and field of study one is involved in, computers become a necessity and is indispensable in making breakthroughs.
Today’s scientific research have also relied heavily on the power of computer. Astronomers employ the use of computers to help them in conducting tests.
The role of computers
The ingenuity of computers is that they are able to find and create patterns in seconds or minutes that would normally take the human brain tremendous amount of time to process.
Astronomers and computers
Astronomers are now making use of these machines or computers to aide them in their study of the stars, galaxy, and outer space phenomena. Through the computers identifying information regarding the basic properties of a certain star is made easy. The data fed through the system are sky survey images. Before computers took over the job, gathering this information would require sorting through of different wavelengths of light emanating from the star and analyzing the spectrum in details. With the advent of high-technology, the computers scan the images and identify patterns in the star to reveal its properties.
If researches were manually done, it would take several decades to identify the properties of billions of stars in the galaxy. But with technology today, astronomers are able to gather information in a less amount of time and at a lower cost.
Even before, computers have been employed in outer space researches. What makes this breakthrough significant and different is that this is the first time that a specific characteristic of a star is captured. Such traits include star composition and its size and are made possible through the images of that star taken over several years.
Impact of Discovery
This gives human race information regarding when a star was born, and how it evolved into the way it is at present time. Scientists can give the public detailed information regarding the history of the galaxy. By knowing the history of the stars and the galaxy, mankind is better informed of what might happen in the future and could create cautions in case something dire is impending.
